Ingredients

  • 3 medium bananas (very ripe)
  • 3/4 cups of sugar (add an additional 1/4 cup if you like it sweeter)
  • 1/3 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 180 g Soft White Wheat Berries (milled)
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Equipment

  • Grain Mill
  • Muffin Tin
  • Whisk
  • Medium Bowl

Method

  1. Preheat Oven to 325.
  2. Mash the bananas.
  3. Add the sugar and butter. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Add in the egg, vanilla extract, salt and baking soda and mixed it all together.
  5. Add in the cocoa powder
  6. Mill the soft white wheat berries. (I milled mine directly into the wet ingredient bowl) And then mix it all up!
  7. Fold in chocolate chips
  8. Spray bread pan to prevent sticking. (I used avocado oil) Then Pour the Double Chocolate Chip Banana Muffin mixture into the muffin pan.
  9. Once the temp is up to 325, place the baking pan on the middle rack and cook for 35 mins.
  10. Let cool slightly before eating. Enjoy!
