For this Double Chocolate Chip Banana Muffin recipe, I used Organic Soft White Wheat Berries sourced from Azure Standard. Read more about where and why I source my wheat berries here
Equipment Needed
The first thing I did was mash my bananas with a fork.

Next I added in the sugar and egg and mixed.

Next I added in the melted butter, while mixing so that the eggs don’t cook.

Next I added in the vanilla extract, salt and baking soda and mixed it all together.

Now for the fun part, the chocolate! I added in the cocoa powder next and mixed until smooth.

Now I mill the soft white wheat berries directly on top my my muffin mixture and mixed it all up!

And then I folded in my chocolate chip!

Next I sprayed bread pan to prevent sticking. (I used avocado oil) Then Pour the Double Chocolate Chip Banana Muffin mixture into the muffin pan.

Now they are ready to pop into the oven! Once the temp is up to 325, I placed the baking pan on the middle rack and cooked for 35 mins. Then it was time to taste and let me tell you it was rich, moist, and bursting with chocolatey goodness in every bite! Enjoy!
